Experts and scholars gathered in the forum to brainstorm hot topics such as carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategies and cutting-edge technologies for the transition of energy.

Li Gao, the head of the Department of Climate Change of Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China, pointed out that green and high-quality developments in areas such as GBA serve as a powerhouse and a growth pole for the green-oriented transition of energy for the country.

Yang Zhifeng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, introduced the key issues and solutions of the coordinated green development of GBA. He proposed the establishment of an overall land-sea governance system through a complex system coupled with coordinated green development of urban clusters.
