From July 2nd to 5th, a Macao Portuguese and English press delegation visited Guangzhou, Shaoguan, Dongguan and Shenzhen, grasping the latest achievements of Guangdong's high-quality development in culture and sci-tech innovation.
Representatives from 10 Macao Portuguese and English press, the Government Information Bureau of the Macao SAR and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR participated in the event.
José Carlos Matias, leader of the delegation and the Director of Macau Business, told GDToday that experiencing high-quality development for the first time in this location was "an eye-opening experience."
"Our work in the media as journalists is that we are the first track of history. So we look forward to telling the stories of this (Macao-Dongguan) corporation, stories of the modernization and high-quality development here," added Matias.
The event is organized by the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Macao Special Administrative Region and arranged by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Guangdong Province.
