Until August 25 this year, the 2023 Summer Museum Night event of Guangdong Museum has brought a unique night-time experience to all visitors. The museum has extended its opening hours to 8:30 pm on Friday nights, with a series of special activities.
On the evening of July 28, a concert based on the exhibition Splendour: Art in the Age of Victoria set tunes for the fantastic activities that night. Meanwhile, revolving around An Exhibition of Antiquities from Ancient Syria, a guided tour, the Chinese and Foreign Ancient Pottery Workshop, as well as desserts and drinks about Cactus, Damascus rose and avocado were available at the museum, offering audiences a sip of Syrian culture.
More colorful activities will decorate your summer holiday on the following Friday nights. Visitors can make a reservation on its official WeChat account "广东省博物馆 (pinyin: guang dong sheng bo wu guan)" to enjoy a diverse and fulfilling night.
