Yuyin Shanfang, Guangzhou (余荫山房)
An orchid exhibition is now underway at the Yuyin Shanfang, featuring over 100 pots and dozens of varieties of orchids. Martial arts shows, flashmobs, guzheng concerts, and a rosewood-made palace lantern exhibition are also held at the garden until October 6.

During the holiday, the Chimelong Paradise launches a China-chic-themed event, offering dance flashmobs, animal-shaped mecha parades, drone shows, and many other activities. Meanwhile, the classic golden hits sing-along event and electronic music festival at the Chimelong Water Park are also worth a try.

Until October 4, visitors can enjoy the annual Panyu Shuise Tourism and Culture Festival at the Baomo Garden. Panyu Shuise is a kind of folk art that presented operas or folklore stories on the raft, integrating plays, painting, acrobatics, music, and dance.

This year, the Panyu Shuise performances at the garden also combine the flower boat parade, dance drama, and "face changing" of Sichuan opera. Tourists can watch the show twice a day.

Grandview Museum of Natural Science, Guangzhou (正佳自然科学博物馆)
For parent-child leisure, the Grandview Museum of Natural Science will be a nice choice. During the holiday, the museum has set up a "Dinosaur Bus" excavation area, where kids can discover "fossil skeletons" of dinosaurs, see some reptiles like central bearded dragons and geckos, and try interactive games about dinosaurs.

Moreover, the museum launched a dinosaur fossils exhibition at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, displaying a batch of fossilized dinosaur eggshells discovered in Guangzhou, a 6.5-meter-high T. rex skeleton and more.

Window of the World, Shenzhen (世界之窗)
The Street Art Festival is in full swing at the Window of the World theme park, gathering global troupes like Close-Act, Flame Oz, Bumbulum, and Old Time Rags. With over 130 performances per day, including interactive street theatre, fire shows, juggling, music, and dance, they will fill the audience with joy.

An acrobatic festival is ongoing at the Splendid China Folk Village in Shenzhen, leading visitors to a world of stunt shows, acrobatic performances, and folk culture of 56 ethnic groups across China. Meanwhile, a light show, a floats parade, and other folklore activities will also offer tourists a fascinating and entertaining experience.

Foshan Zumiao (佛山祖庙博物馆)
Foshan Zumiao (Foshan Ancestral Temple) is another good place for outdoor recreation during the holidays. It has arranged a series of celebrations, including lion dance performances, and Cantonese opera, from September 29 to October 6. Furthermore, there will be a traditional Chinese dance, a Hanfu show, and a pipa and bamboo flute ensemble until October 4 to provide an audio-visual feast for the public.
