The 13th China International Animation Copyright Fair is now underway in Dongguan, and the city was officially designated as the first "Capital of Art Toys in China" yesterday at the Fair. In addition to this event, more destinations about art toys, China-chic and ACG ("Animation, Comics, and Games") in Dongguan are worth a visit as well. If you are an anime fan, don't miss out!
Comic Library of Dongguan Library (东莞漫画图书馆)
Embellished in 2004, the Comic Library provides over 120,000 volumes of comic books and more than 70 kinds of comic newspapers. During the summer holiday, the library will hold a range of colorful activities, such as China-chic painting exhibitions, cosplay shows, and music flashmobs.

X11 flagship shop (X11潮玩集合店)
In this global pop culture specialty retail store, more than 5,500 art toys or related products in 16 categories are on display in large exhibition spaces ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 square meters. On the square outside X11 stands the Laura figurine, which is a landmark of the city. Don't forget to take a photo with her!

Art toy display cabinet
During the summer holiday, a large cabinet displaying the "HUYG-LOVEME" art toy series is set up at the Hongfu Road Station on Metro Line 2. You can find these cute toy dogs near Exit F.

IN WAVE commercial center (浪里汇)
At a designer toy space of over 2,000 square meters at IN WAVE Commercial Center, visitors can see toys, garage kits, stuffed animals, model cars, blind boxes, woodblock printings and more. This place attracts more than 100 global IPs and is well-liked by Generation Z.

Centennial Chinese Comic Art Museum (洪梅百年国漫馆)
Walking into the museum is like reading the history of Chinese comics. Through old photographs, garage kits, models, as well as classic animation works and historical documents, people will better understand the development of Chinese animation over the past decades.

"Art toy villages" in Shipai Town
Chikan Village and Miaobianwang Village in Dongguan's Shipai Town are both historic and trendy. In Chikan Village, there are several figurines of Laura, Sueno, Mr'Pa and other IPs standing by the beautiful waterfront. Furthermore, various shapes of the sculptures of art toy IPs shining in the sunlight are worth a visit as well.

Art toy theme hotel

Additionally, on July 22, a China-chic fashion show, dance performances Night Banquet in Tang Dynasty Palace and Dunhuang dance and other interaction activities will take visitors back to the ancient days.
