Witness the splendor of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link through this exhibition in Guangzhou

On June 18, an oil painting and photography exhibition of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link opened at the Poly Changda Aoyugang Base Cultural and Art Museum in Guangzhou. The exhibition is free to the public and will run until August 18.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is a mega sea-crossing passage that includes bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater interchanges, stretching approximately 24 kilometers. It is scheduled to formally open soon.

Centered on the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, this exhibition showcases 32 oil paintings and 123 photographs. Vivid reds, bright yellows, and clear blues capture the skies, waves, mist, ships, bridge piers, and cranes. This combination of contemporary landscape oil paintings and industrial themes offers a unique visual experience.

"I've taken 100,000 photos of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, totaling over 2000 GB," said Shen Weidong, Party Branch secretary of Poly Changda's S05 section of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link project. "I've been photographing for 18 years, capturing ten bridges and numerous portraits. I hope to publish a photo album in the future. Taking part in the construction of this mega project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a significant honor and a treasured experience."

During the exhibition period, there will also be talks by the artists and project builders, where they will share their stories about the construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link.
