From November 12 to 17, the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China or Zhuhai Airshow, is soaring back into Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. Aviation enthusiasts and curious visitors alike will get a chance to witness cutting-edge aerospace technology and thrilling aerial displays. But why stop there? Zhuhai offers much more than just the airshow—here's how you can make the most of your time in this vibrant city.
What to expect at the Airshow
This year's Zhuhai Airshow promises to be the largest and most spectacular yet, with an impressive 13 exhibition halls covering 120,000 square meters of indoor space. For the first time, the event will feature a dedicated UAV and unmanned boat demonstration area.

Some of the most exciting exhibits will include the Chang'e-6 lunar probe, samples of lunar soil from the far side of the moon, and the Long March 8 and Long March 12 rockets. Don't miss the newly declassified J-35A stealth fighter and the J-20, along with Russia's Su-57, marking a historic moment as three stealth fighter jets may make their debut at a single airshow. Additionally, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force's "August 1st" and "Red Eagle" aerobatic teams will once again take to the skies, dazzling spectators with their breathtaking performances.

Note: This year's airshow has three main viewing areas: the 15th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition at Zhuhai Airshow Center, the Jinfengtai Bleacher for Watching Flying Displays, and the UAV & Unmanned Boat Demonstration Area near Doumen District Lianzhou Airport. Each has different schedules, locations, and exhibits, so visitors should plan accordingly.
Due to traffic control around the venue, it's recommended to use the city's special Airshow shuttle buses or take the Zhuhai-Zhuhai Airport Intercity Railway.

New Hall of Zhuhai Space Center (珠海太空中心新馆)
Zhuhai Space Center offers fascinating exhibits on aerospace, aviation, and national defense, including a 1:1 replica of the Tiangong Space Station, Moon and Mars exploration halls, and interactive VR space exploration experiences. It's like stepping into a real-life space-themed amusement park!

Hengshiji Beach (横石基沙滩)
Right next to the Shalan camp, you'll find Hengshiji Beach, where you can catch an unobstructed view of the sunset. The soft sands, crystal-clear waters, and endless horizon make it a peaceful spot for a stroll or a relaxing beach day.

Luyi Ancestral Hall (菉猗堂)
Built around 1454, Luyi Ancestral Hall features a unique oyster shell wall. The wall, built from a mixture of earth, red sugar, sticky rice, and vinegar, is decorated with over 90,000 oyster shells. It's a fascinating glimpse into the region's history and architectural innovation.

Doumen Old Street (斗门旧街)
