Guangdong Museum recently extended its opening hours to 8:30 pm on Fridays and weekends before September for its 2023 Summer Museum Night event.
On the evening of August 18, the museum held a gala themed the Silk Road, which was a part of the event. It was based on the ongoing special exhibition of antiquities from ancient Syria and presented performances of dance, song, pipa, and folk music.
