The Guangxi International Communication Center was inaugurated in Nanning on Friday, September 6. Chen Yijun, Member of the Standing Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Communist Party Committee and Head of Guangxi's Publicity Department, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Chen Yijun stated that by leveraging Guangxi's geographic and cultural proximity to ASEAN, the region will collaborate with central authorities, ASEAN countries, and media from Hong Kong and Macao to develop the Guangxi International Communication Center. The goal is to create an international content distribution center, focusing on ASEAN, with distinct Guangxi characteristics, thus building a comprehensive international communication system to better support pragmatic cooperation between China and ASEAN.

The Guangxi International Communication Center will strive to create a three-pronged communication platform comprising an official website, mobile app channels, and a matrix of overseas social media accounts. It will also cultivate the "Hello Guangxi" international communication brand, fostering a diversified, multi-faceted, and collaborative external publicity network. This will allow more overseas audiences to understand an amicable China through the splendors of Guangxi.
