The opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2024 was held in Boao, Hainan Province, on March 28. From March 26 to 29, global experts engaged in discussions on topics such as the global economy and climate change, and many of them expressed their confidence in China's development.
The voices from Boao convey a clear message: the world is optimistic about China and its Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Carl F. Fey, Professor at BI Norwegian Business School, indicated that as one of the most dynamic regions in the Chinese economy, Guangdong will continue to play a significant role in China's economic development because of the integration, bringing together the benefits of the whole GBA.
