Triggered by Typhoon Maysak, torrential rains battered parts of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, causing floods and other disasters. Rescue teams, firefighters, volunteers and emergency workers raced against time to evacuate stranded residents, deliver relief supplies, restore transport and power networks, and clear debris, as recovery efforts continued across the affected areas.
