International flights surge in China Southern's Summer–Autumn schedule

China Southern's summer-autumn flight schedule period was launched as of March 25 lasting until Oct. 27. The proportion of international flights has been increased in the new schedule, according to the airlines.

The first Guangzhou-London line will be launched on June 6 for three flights a week. The flights between Guangzhou and Amsterdam will be increased twice during this season, totaling seven flights a week after June 13. It is to say, including the existing Amsterdam flights via Beijing, Moscow flights via Urumqi and direct flight to Paris, there will be 28 flights flying from Guangzhou to the European cities. On the other hand, there will be 38 flights depart from Guangzhou to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland every week.

As for the Asian flights, those between Guangzhou and Osaka will be doubled to 14 a week. The number of flights will be continuously increasing since September. It is expected that there will be 175 flights traveling to 12 Southeast Asian cities every week by the end of the year. The schedule of Guangzhou-Delhi flights will be optimized, and the number of flights to Vancouver will be increased to five a week to facilitate the passengers transferring in Guangzhou to travel between Southeast Asia and Canada or Australia.

There will be four flights every week traveling from Beijing to Iran's Teheran during the season.

The international flights account for 27.2 percent of the airlines' total passenger capacity according to the new schedule. And the percentage will be raised to 30 percent by the end of this year.
