US Ambassador to China Mr. Locke revealed yesterday in Guangzhou that the US Embassy is now considering issuing a five-year multi-entry visa to Chinese businessmen, students and visitors.

Besides, the applicants may expect to receive their visas through mails instead of picking up from the nearby China Citic Bank, said Mr. Locke.

It was the ambassador’s first visit to the new site of US Consulate General in Guangzhou since its opening to public last month in the booming central business district of Zhujiang New Town.
