According to Xinhua news agency's report, China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, dipped 1.2 percent in August from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics said Friday (Sep 11).
China's producer price index (PPI), a major measurement of inflation at the wholesale level, fell 7.9 percent in August year on year.
