| Yesterday (Nov 3), a China (Guangdong)-S Korea trade and economic conference was held in Seoul, on which over 1000 representatives of Guangdong government and enterprises and their S Korea counterparts had deepened understanding of each other and vowed to enhance cooperation.
Guangdong Party Secretary Wang Yang pointed out Guangdong will focus on cooperation with S Korea in four aspects.

The first is advanced manufacturing, modern service sector and hi-tech industry. Guangdong is willing to expand cooperation with S. Korean enterprises on software, information and communications, finance, logistics, cultural innovation, environmental protection, energy saving, electronics and steel.
Second, stimulate the bilateral trade. Guangdong will buy more Korean integrated circuit, LCD, computer parts, plastics, steel, oil and bronze. Meanwhile, Guangdong hopes to sell more machines, air conditioners, game machine, video set, telephones, garments, furniture and shoes to S Korea.
Third, strengthen cooperation in technology, education and culture, etc. Guangdong hopes to learn from S Korea experiences on administration, urban and rural construction, economic structure optimization and public management.
Fourth, establish mechanism to boost multi-level exchanges and cooperation.
After the conference and visits to enterprises and local governments, Guangdong mission concluded its fruitful tour in South Korea and headed to their second stop - Japan.
