Autumn in Guangzhou is a season bursting with color, and Panyu District is no exception. Recently, Panyu has showcased its unique charm with brilliant blooms all around.
Silk floss trees
Walking through Panyu's streets, it's hard to miss the pink romance of the silk floss trees in full bloom. With their large, umbrella-like canopies and striking pink flowers, these trees present a stunning display.
Heading past Panyu Middle School, you'll find the silk floss trees blossoming along the riverside.
At Lianhu Ecological Park, the pink blooms, reflecting on the lake and accompanied by winding boardwalks, create a unique autumn landscape.
On Riquan Street, Caibian Village, the silk floss trees sway gently in the autumn breeze, creating a "rain" of pink petals.
Just steps away from the Panyu Square Metro Station, you can experience a "pink romance" along Shengtai Road.
Panyu Children's Park becomes a colorful spot in October with a bright splash of pink silk floss trees, perfect for a family outing while enjoying the gentle autumn winds.
Goldenrain trees
In autumn, goldenrain trees also put on a show, symbolizing the transition from summer to autumn.
Goldenrain trees line both sides of Guanjing Road, transitioning from golden blossoms to rosy fruit clusters, with green leaves providing a lush backdrop.
Meanwhile, at the Yanzhou Sluice Gate, the trees stand tall with clusters of lantern-shaped seed pods swaying gracefully.
Rice fields
Late October through early November brings a change to the rice fields in Shiqi Town, as the grains ripen and turn golden. Here, fields stretch beneath blue skies and white clouds, with paved paths allowing locals to walk among the fields and capture the joy of the harvest season.
Bougainvillea
Throughout Panyu's streets, bougainvillea blooms add even more color. In the Xifang Dayuan Cultural and Creative Park, the historic buildings are draped in a cascade of purple bougainvillea, becoming a hotspot among locals.
