Rice paddies turn golden in front of Guangzhou's National Archives

In front of the Guangzhou branch of the National Archives, rice fields sparkle with a golden brilliance. Rice plants are laden with heavy, golden grains, their color radiant. When the autumn breeze sweeps through, the air fills with the fragrant scent of ripened rice.

One can see a vast spread of golden rice paddies, shimmering like a sea of treasure under the sunlight. In most of Conghua District, lush green rice fields have now turned a rich golden yellow, creating waves of golden hues as far as the eye can see.

The fields resemble a golden satin cloak spread over the land, creating the awe-inspiring image of a giant golden carpet. These vast golden fields, with the Liuxi River and the archives as their backdrop, sketch a picturesque scene of rural beauty and abundant harvest.

This stunning landscape has drawn many visitors, eager to capture the beauty. Some stroll with friends through the fields, sharing in the joy of the harvest season, while others, bringing drones, cameras, and video gear, weave through the fields, documenting the breathtaking scenery and basking in the rural charm of Conghua.

"It's beautiful," said local resident Pan. "I visited the archives when it was first completed, and there were no rice fields then. Returning now to see this golden expanse, full of harvest imagery, is incredible. When filming with a drone, the golden fields blend with the archives, mountains, and rivers, showcasing Conghua's exceptional environment."
