As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, people living in the Pearl River Delta region are busy preparing for a series of dragon boat activities. Following persistent rains, Guangzhou experienced a sunny Sunday on June 2nd. Residents in various districts started their dragon boat training for the upcoming competitions.

On the afternoon of June 2nd, the dragon boat teams from Siyou Village in Yuexiu District and Yumingxincun Village in Tianhe District joined together to conduct dragon boat training on the river between Ersha Island and Haixinsha Island.
