On October 15, the 136th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) officially opened its doors to visitors. It will be held in three phases between October 15 and November 4, with significant growth in the scale of exhibitors, the number of new products, and new product launch events compared to the previous fair.
The total exhibition area for this year's Canton Fair is 1.55 million square meters, with 74,000 booths across 55 exhibition sections and 171 specialized zones. The three phases focus on the themes of "advanced manufacturing," "interior decoration," and "better lifestyles," respectively.
The on-site exhibition features more than 30,000 participating companies, including approximately 29,400 export exhibitors, an increase of nearly 800 compared with the previous fair. A large number of new enterprises, products, technologies, and business models have registered for the fair, including nearly 4,600 exhibitors who are taking part for the first time.
Thousands of overseas buyers have registered, with 75.7 percent coming from partner countries of the Belt and Road Initiative. Take a look at the bustling scenes of the fair.
