Recently, as tourism in the Altay continues to boom and the Xinjiang tourism market gradually enters the summer peak season, China Southern Airlines will open new routes and add more flights on some of the current routes to Altay. Seven routes of China Southern Airlines will be available in Altay, with almost 30 flights per week.
Altay boasts abundant tourism resources, including mountains, forests, valley scenery, lakes, and hot springs, as well as rock paintings and carvings. In addition to Altay Xuedu Airport, there are also Kanasi and Fuyun Koktokay airports in this region. Visitors can also go to Altay by connecting flights through Urumqi.
