"I do believe that the main risk is a risk of division of the world ... the instruction given to all the others, you have to choose your side," voiced Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.
He made the claim in his address at the 22nd Shangri-La Dialogue on May 30. He then warned that a global order based on all the institutions created after the Second World War to preserve peace and to have cooperation on health, on climate, on human rights would be "destroyed methodically", if countries are forced to choose sides.
