For a refreshing escape into nature, visit Nanqing Village in Huangling Town, Dianbai District, Maoming, South China's Guangdong Province. A popular local destination, it features 91.31% forest coverage and a negative oxygen ion concentration exceeding 1,300 ions per cubic centimeter, earning its reputation as a "natural oxygen bar."

The newly built mountain hiking trail in Nanqing Village has recently opened to the public. The 5.5-kilometer round-trip route connects pavilions, temples, and various scenic spots across the mountains and countryside.
Along the ascent, hikers are surrounded by dense forests and striking rock formations—some flat, some towering—showcasing the area's raw, natural beauty.

At the summit viewing platform, sweeping vistas unfold—rolling mountains, villages, farmlands and lakes spread out below, inspiring a sense of grandeur reminiscent of "seeing all other mountains as small."
Equally captivating are the blossoms along the trail. White oil-tea flowers carpet the hills, creating a sea of white, while bougainvillea and purple bellflowers bloom profusely, turning the journey into a walk through a living landscape painting.

The village itself is equally enchanting. White-walled, black-tiled homes nestle amid green mountains and clear waters, creating a tranquil, poetic atmosphere. Along the trail, several homestays blend seamlessly into the landscape, ranging from traditional, antique-style dwellings to modern minimalist retreats.

Visitors may also encounter a charming pet park, where peacocks fan their brilliant tails, black goats roam freely, rabbits hop about, and parrots call out cheerfully. Nearby Swan Lake offers a serene scene, with black swans gliding across the water and occasionally dipping their heads to preen.
