"I welcome everyone to come and join us in Yangjiang." At the 2026 China Cultural and Tourism Gala, Hong Kong actor Vincent Wong extended a global invitation to experience the richness of the Chinese New Year in Yangjiang, a coastal city in southern China's Guangdong Province.
Making his first visit to Yangjiang, Wong was immediately captivated by the city's charm. "This is my first time here in Yangjiang, and I found this place very lovely because the weather is very nice." He also pointed to the region's natural beauty, adding, "They have a very beautiful coastline that I'm gonna visit today."
He also highlighted Yangjiang's culinary appeal, noting, "I heard the food here is really good, especially the seafood."
With a coastline stretching 470.2 kilometers and a maritime area of 12,300 square kilometers, Yangjiang boasts a thriving marine economy and diverse coastal culture. It is also renowned as the "Capital of Green Energy," hosting China's largest and most complete wind power equipment manufacturing cluster.
