Embracing the brisk autumn breeze, in the village of Beisuo in Dacheng Town, Xinyi City, Maoming, Guangdong Province, the heavy sweet persimmons weigh down the branches. The orange-red persimmons not only depict the charm of autumn but also tell of a bountiful harvest.
The continuous persimmon trees, together with the verdant mountains, the azure sky, and the drifting white clouds, create an enchanting pastoral scene.
Beisuo Village in Dacheng Town is embraced by mountains and waters, with lush forests and abundant resources. Beisuo sweet persimmons grow on hilly land above 600 meters in altitude, maturing naturally in the high mountain climate. Their sugar content is maintained at 18-21 degrees Brix. They are picked when they reach eight-tenths ripeness and a natural de-astringency on the tree. The persimmons taste sweet and crisp, making them a landmark agricultural product of Xinyi City, known as the "first choice of late autumn fruits" and acclaimed as a "Guangdong treasure."
In China, as persimmons ripen, it's also a time to make beautiful wishes, hoping that everyone's dreams will come true.
