"Allow me first of all to congratulate the Nanfang Media Group on this successful rebranding and restyling operation from GDToday to South," Valerio De Parolis, Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou, noted in his remark at South Reader's Salon in Guangzhou on July 3.
Taking this opportunity, Parolis thanked Nanfang Media Group and the Provincial Authorities of Guangdong for celebrating with us the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's death with a memorable event hosted at the Guangzhou Opera House on May 4 last year.
He voiced that the Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou looks forward to maintaining an open dialogue and friendly cooperation with the newly launched South, in order to keep bilateral storytelling alive, to the benefit of people and communities.
