He is Chun Wai Chan, principal dancer of the New York City Ballet.
He has been dancing for over 20 years. He has not yet created any dance using ballet and the themes of his hometown, Huizhou, Guangdong. So this time, returning home, he wants to find inspiration in the food and scenery of his hometown, to look for this inspiration.
As an Asian, as the first Chinese principal dancer, he feels a sense of mission. Besides being himself and creating art, he hopes to use his network to cultivate the next generation.
