Foshan officially launched its first regular drone takeout delivery route on January 22, linking Foshan Unipark mall with Guicheng Eco-Island Park.
Spanning about six kilometers, the route cuts delivery time from 20 to 30 minutes by traditional means to around 10 minutes via low-altitude drones, boosting efficiency by more than 50 percent and enabling park visitors to quickly enjoy food from the mall.
Orders can be placed through the "PinDianDian" WeChat Mini Program or by scanning on-site QR codes, selecting items, entering contact details, and completing payment.
