On October 20, Chancheng District established Foshan's first International Service Zone, creating a new hallmark for international government services.
To address challenges faced by foreign talent and foreign-invested enterprises, such as language barriers, unclear policies, and lack of familiarity with the local environment, the International Service Zone in Chancheng District has established a service team with professionals proficient in English, German, and other languages, providing accompaniment for procedures and consultation services.
Meanwhile, the Service Zone has integrated 95 high-frequency matters, including work and residence permits for foreigners in China, social security applications, enterprise registration, and import-export tax refunds, enabling "one-stop processing". Previously, it required visiting multiple departments with multiple sets of materials. Now, all related matters can be completed at a single dedicated window. With the guidance of professional staff, it makes the process easy to follow.
Tamer from Brazil said: "Now I can handle all procedures in one place, whether it's the work permit or visa. It's much more convenient."
