Construction begins on Guangdong's Huangmaoxia Reservoir

On July 22, the Huangmaoxia Reservoir project in Dawan Town, Yingde, Qingyuan, Guangdong province, officially broke ground. As the first project for flood control and prevention on the main stream of the Lianjiang River, its launch marks a new step in Guangdong's efforts to strengthen the construction of the Beijiang flood defense system. The project plays a key role in enhancing the flood defense system in the middle and lower reaches of the Lianjiang River Basin, strengthening water security and driving regional development.
