From May 19 to 21, 10 international vloggers visited Maoming, Guangdong, starting at the Baiqiao Service Area on the Baotou-Maoming Expressway - Guangdong's first lychee-themed service area. The unique combination of Lingnan cultural elements and modern facilities greatly impressed the foreign visitors.
Swiss student vlogger Remo was fascinated by the service area's podium buildings: "The white walls and gray tiles in Lingnan style, along with the landscape lake and corridors - it's like bringing a classical garden onto the highway!" He particularly praised the lychee-shaped roof design and the transparent glass elements that blend local characteristics with modern aesthetics.

Canadian vlogger Alexandra Louise Ogden was surprised by the commercial atmosphere: "They have Teemall and Outlets here, plus these futuristic sculptures - this doesn't feel like a service area at all, but more like a fashionable shopping mall!"
What impressed her most was seeing local villagers carrying fresh lychees while visiting, creating an interesting contrast with the urban commercial environment. "This collision of local life and modern style is absolutely charming!"
Baiqiao Service Area is not just a rest stop, but a window showcasing Maoming's culture. The integration of traditional lychee culture with modern commerce allowed foreign visitors to witness the diverse aspects of China's rural revitalization and urban development.
