Shenzhen hosts "Aerial F1" challenge with 4,500 drones forming tracks in sky

On March 27, the 2026 Longgang Sky Crossing FPV Drone Challenge was held at the Shenzhen Universiade Center.

The event brought together top FPV pilots from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao, using 4,500 drones to create the world's first illuminated aerial racecourse. The drones dynamically outlined obstacles such as gravity gates, triple gates, aerial passages, and S-shaped turns in the night sky, delivering a spectacular "Aerial F1" experience that blends technology, speed, and innovation.
