"The next 25 years will be even better," says Bristol Mayor on Guangzhou ties

On March 23, the Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Bristol, Henry Michallat, led a delegation to Guangzhou to mark the 25th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between the two cities. It was his first time in China and his first visit to Guangzhou, a trip aimed at deepening bilateral ties and advancing practical cooperation in education, culture, business, and beyond.

"I think the past 25 years have been really successful for both our cities in terms of collaboration and through education," said Mayor Michallat in a conversation with South. He added, "I'm hoping and I'm sure they will continue to be even better going forward into the future."
