Foshan's Shunde cuisine showcased at 2025 Macao International Cities of Gastronomy Fest

The 2025 Macao International Cities of Gastronomy Fest is being held at the Macao Fisherman's Wharf from July 11 to 20. With the theme of "Spices and Herbs," the event has brought together "UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy" from six continents to create an international feast that transcends cultures and tantalizes taste buds.

On July 12-14, renowned chefs Wang Fujian and Gao Jian from Foshan's Shunde participated in the Cities of Gastronomy Showcase of the 2025 Macao International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, presenting two signature Shunde dishes, Rosemary-Smoked Chicken with First Extract Soy Sauce and Baked Eel with Fresh Mint Sauce, to showcase Shunde's culinary skills and the fusion and innovation of Cantonese cuisine to representatives from "UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy" around the world.

The event was divided into three sections: the International Gastronomy Promenade, the City of Gastronomy Showcase, and the International Gastronomy Forum, Macao. Chefs from 29 cities of gastronomy will present over 60 culinary shows, and 105 food booths will feature flavors from 15 cities around the world. There was also a tasting area set up for the audience to experience the unique flavors of "UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy" up close for free.
