On October 30, the 4th World Conference of Nanhai District kicked off in grand style, welcoming 1,200 participants from around the world back to their hometown of Nanhai.
As a shared event for Nanhai people worldwide, the conference will run from October 30 to November 2, featuring five major themes, covering industries, culture and tourism, technology, and more. It aims to showcase Nanhai's new vitality and achievements, and connect Nanhai people and resources worldwide.
The opening ceremony and welcome dinner featured a series of intangible cultural heritage performances, including Wing Chun and lion dance. The event also saw the launch of the "Global Nanhai People Connectivity Project," setting a warm and heartfelt tone for the conference.
The "Nanhai Best Goods" exhibition and sales event also opened on the same day, and will last for four days. With over 70 specialty booths and more than 300 products, the event allows participants to experience Nanhai's industrial vitality.
