On April 10, the 2025 Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Exchange and Cooperation Fair, themed "Connecting Overseas Chinese Worldwide, Facilitating Trade Across Five Continents" , grandly opened at the 3U Ecological Industrial Park of Rong Dian Group (Zhongshan).
Over 260 prominent overseas Chinese leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry guests from 45 countries and regions, as well as 90 overseas Chinese associations, gathered in Zhongshan—a transportation hub in the Greater Bay Area and a prime destination for investment. At the fair, investment projects worth 1.1 billion yuan were signed on-site, along with overseas trade and strategic cooperation agreements exceeding 2 billion yuan. Attendees jointly launched the Zhongshan Initiative of "Overseas Chinese Supporting Global Expansion of Enterprises and Products", uniting the strength and solidarity of overseas Chinese to fuel high-quality development.
To further enhance collaboration between overseas Chinese leaders and entrepreneurs in Zhongshan's industries, the fair actively engaged 14 trade associations, including the Zhongshan Household Electrical Appliances Association. Four themed matchmaking sessions will be held: "Lighting, Optoelectronics, Home Appliances & Cross-Border E-Commerce," "Office Furniture & Hardware," "Apparel & Textiles," and "Huangpu Town's Premium Products." Additionally, two specialized promotion events about Huangpu Town of Zhongshan and the Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Youth Federation will be held.
The fair will organize participating overseas Chinese leaders and entrepreneurs into three tour groups to visit Zhonghan’s towns including Huangpu, Nantou, Henglan, Guzhen, and Tanzhou. These field visits will allow them to gain firsthand insights into Zhongshan's investment and business environment, as well as the current state of its industrial development.
