The 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) opened on October 15 in Guangzhou, running in three phases until November 4.
This year's event spans 1.55 million square meters with 74,600 booths, hosting over 32,000 exhibitors—both record highs. About 3,600 companies are participating for the first time.
As of October 9, more than 207,000 buyers from 217 countries and regions had pre-registered, a 14.1% increase on the previous edition. Buyers from the EU, the US, and Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) partner countries saw notable growth.
