On October 9, 2025, IP Guangdong made its international debut in Tokyo, presenting the beloved Chinese original IP "Xiaolin Comics" through a themed pop-up event. Titled "When Tokyo Meets IP Guangdong: Xiao Lin's Zen of Everyday Life," the exhibition runs from October 9 to 12 in Shinjuku, the artistic heart of Tokyo, right beside SEKAIDO, Japan's largest art supply store, known as a paradise for art lovers.
Featuring 40 works by Lin Dihuan, the author of Xiaolin Comics, the pop-up showcases his signature healing-style aesthetic, blending traditional Chinese ink-line art with philosophical reflections. A highlight of the event includes live collaborative art sessions with Jin Cheng, chairman of the Guangdong Cartoonists Association.
Launched on July 2, 2025, IP Guangdong is a comprehensive resource-sharing and image branding platform representing South China's Guangdong province. It is dedicated to inspiring global creativity and building a "Visual Window of Guangdong," a platform to showcase outstanding Chinese and Guangdong IPs. Lin Dihuan and Jin Cheng were among the first creators to join.
