On New Year's Day, Guangzhou South Railway Station was transformed into a vibrant cultural stage as Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County of Shaoguan City presented a special promotion of its agriculture, culture and tourism.
Held on the afternoon of January 1, the event—titled "Set Out Right Away, Fulfill Your Wish in Ruyuan – World's Yao Homeland, Healing Paradise"—was jointly organized by Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County and China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd.
Through immersive displays of Yao culture, natural healing experiences and local products, the promotion turned the bustling high-speed railway hub into a living portrait of Ruyuan's poetic landscapes and ethnic heritage.
Travelers passing through the station were invited to pause, engage and enjoy a memorable cultural encounter—one that offered not only a glimpse of the Yao homeland, but also a moment of calm and spiritual resonance amid the rush of travel.
