The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), held from November 5–10, has become a dynamic platform for Guangdong enterprises to showcase their advanced manufacturing strengths and high-quality development achievements.
For companies like COEUS, the CIIE serves as a vital bridge to overseas markets and customer insights. Mia, an exhibition representative from the company, highlighted its impact: "This time, at the CIIE, we also receive a lot of overseas customer information."
This feedback-driven innovation has already translated into tangible business opportunities. Mia emphasized that the expo's value extends far beyond onsite displays, noting, "When clients visit our company showroom, gain in-depth understanding, discuss deeper cooperation—I think this is the most important."
COEUS, which showcased eye-catching holographic fan technology with 3D visual effects, exemplifies Guangdong's push to align its products with global demand. The company's participation in events like the CIIE supports its strategy to continuously explore foreign trade markets.
Guangdong's time-honored brands also leveraged the CIIE to expand their international footprint. Hong Wei, a representative from Huangshanghuang, highlighted the appeal of their culturally rich products: "The key point that attracts more foreign merchants to our products is, our products carry some Chinese cultural attributes, which is different from ordinary meat products."
Huangshanghuang' participation in the CIIE allowed it to engage with a broader, global customer base. Hong Wei observed, "At the CIIE, we are facing global customers," adding that international peers actively inquired about their offerings.
Guangdong's technological prowess was also on full display with innovations like the electromagnetic net-capture robot dog. Li Jingchao, the project lead, detailed its practical application: "In case of danger, you can immediately turn on the power. Press the red button to launch, and you can quickly restrain the target."
The product has already seen domestic adoption and is now targeting international markets. Li noted, "Our equipment has already been utilized by public security in some provinces and cities. In the security forces at this CIIE, our electromagnetic weapons are also deployed."
Their overseas expansion is underway, with a presence in India, Thailand, Australia, and more. Li expressed hopes that the CIIE would help to connect with overseas clients, allowing safer and more effective products to protect more people around the world.
