Starting from December 22 to December 26, and from December 29, 2023 to January 1, 2024, Shenzhen will add 22 high-speed trains to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to meet the traveling demand during the upcoming New Year's Day.
Among the additional trains, two will be at Shenzhen North Station and 20 at Futian Station. By then, there will be over 200 trains running between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
To enhance passengers' travel experience, the Futian Station will offer relevant guidance and diversified language services, and will assign special staff at key locations, such as the entrance and exit of the station, during peak hours.
During the same period, Shenzhen North Station will open a special ticket window for Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and add an express entry channel. Additionally, more than 20 volunteers will be arranged in the east and west squares to provide guidance for travelers.
Furthermore, passengers taking trains between Futian Station and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station can enjoy free ticket changes up to three times on the same day of departure. They can change their tickets on the 12306.cn website (including the 12306 mobile APP), railway ticket windows, as well as automatic ticket machines in both stations.
