In Bajiaoshan Village, Baoguang Sub-district, Gaozhou (高州宝光街道八角山村), Maoming City, harvesters moved across more than a thousand mu (66.67 hectares) of golden rice fields, gathering the grains inch by inch for storage.
The air was filled with the warm scent of sunshine and ripened rice — the purest fragrance of autumn.
