Engines roared at the test track of Jiangmen Summit Motor Co., Ltd. in Pengjiang District, Jiangmen, as overseas buyers gathered recently for an immersive factory visit and motorcycle test-drive experience.
Drawn by the products showcased at the 139th Canton Fair, buyers from nearly 10 countries and regions, including Italy, Argentina, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, traveled to the factory to assess the production capacity, quality control systems, and the real-world performance across more than a dozen models.
At the track, buyers tested acceleration, handling, and load capacity under varied conditions, from uphill inclines to flat circuits. Electric models also attracted attention, with visitors expressing keen interest in integrated solutions such as battery swapping and solar-powered charging stations.
According to the company, the hands-on experience has significantly boosted orders. Several buyers placed additional orders on site, with one European client doubling its original order of over 1,000 large-displacement motorcycles.
Maximilian, an Italian buyer and long-term partner of Jiangmen Summit Motor, commented that the motorcycles' performance and design had surpassed his expectations and expressed his confidence in their market potential in Europe. Kapuku Henig, a buyer from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, also noted the models' suitability for road conditions in his home country, signaling prospects for further cooperation.
Jiangmen is one of China's major motorcycle production hubs. With robust manufacturing capabilities and sustained investment in research and development, local companies are accelerating their expansion into global markets.
