In recent years, Guangdong has held annual press conferences inviting officials from consulates-general in Guangzhou to listen in and observe, reflecting the province's ongoing efforts to strengthen public legal education. As a result, awareness of IP protection has continued to grow across society.

Beyond the event itself, Guangdong has expanded international IP cooperation through cross-regional and global exchanges. The province has strengthened collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and deepened IP cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao, supporting cross-border commercialization and the IP application.

On opening-up initiatives, Guangdong reported implementing 455 cumulative cooperation projects under the Guangdong–Hong Kong and Guangdong–Macao frameworks. It also said that 20 international service agencies have been introduced to operate in the International IP Service Hall at the China–Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, facilitating cross-border IP collaboration and commercialization.
