In Foshan's Chancheng District, the event "2025 BRICS IP Service Agencies Exchange Conference in Foshan" will take place on October 24. To support businesses in their international expansion and mutual success, this event seeks to foster deep integration between BRICS intellectual property service resources and industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Intellectual property experts, government representatives, enterprise executives, and delegates from legal service institutions in BRICS countries including China, Brazil, Russia, and South Africa will gather to conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as intellectual property protection, cross-border dispute resolution, and international cooperation mechanisms. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Commercial Legal Service Center, CCPIT Foshan, and the Foshan Sub-Center of the National Guidance Center for Handling Overseas IP will sign cooperation agreements with intellectual property service institutions from three BRICS countries to assist enterprises in their global expansion.
Additionally, the organizers will host a cooperation exchange meeting between BRICS intellectual property service institutions and Greater Bay Area law firms at the Foshan Central Legal District, along with roundtable dialogues on the foreign-related intellectual property service needs of export-oriented manufacturing enterprises. Other activities include demonstration visits to patent and trademark institutions, as well as special research on foreign-related intellectual property mediation work, the intellectual property service demands of China's intelligent industrial robot industry chain, and the operation of the CCPIT Mediation Center (Greater Bay Area).
At the same time, there will be a "Cultural Night" event for overseas specialists from BRICS intellectual property service agencies to visit Foshan Zumiao and experience the allure of Lingnan culture.
