Zhongshan Bonded Logistics Center hits record 3.79B yuan in 2025, up 14%

Zhongshan Customs announced on February 9 that the Zhongshan Bonded Logistics Center recorded total imports and exports of 3.79 billion yuan in 2025, a 14 percent increase year on year and the highest level since it began operations 15 years ago.

In August last year, the center joined a pilot program for reform measures in comprehensive bonded zones. The reforms include optimizing bonded account management, implementing classified supervision of goods, and allowing goods under different declaration categories to be transported together. These measures have significantly improved customs clearance efficiency and supply chain coordination, reduced average operating costs for enterprises by about 10 percent, and enhanced logistics responsiveness.

As the only facility in South China piloting the reform measures, the Zhongshan center has further strengthened its geographic and cost advantages, drawing growing interest from businesses in nearby cities including Shenzhen, Dongguan and Guangzhou. In the five months since the pilot began, six new enterprises have been established at the center, spanning cross-border e-commerce and high-end display manufacturing. Regional procurement and distribution hubs for brands such as Casio and Dell are also taking shape.
