On June 14, the 2025 Guangdong Lychee Production and Marketing Matchmaking Event (Huizhou Sub-Venue) and the opening ceremony of the RCEP Guangdong Huizhou (Zhenlong) Lychee Trading Center were held in Zhenlong Town, Huizhou, where 15,600 tons of lychees were pre-sold through production and marketing agreements.
Zhenlong Lychees is the only lychee production area in the province to hold all three prestigious titles: Geographical Indication Certification, GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certification, and National Regional Public Brand.
Benefiting from its unique geographical environment, Zhenlong produces premium varieties like Guiwei and Nuomici lychees, boasting a brand value as high as 1.09 billion yuan. The region has established the RCEP Guangdong Huizhou (Zhenlong) Lychee Trading Center, now one of Guangdong's largest lychee trading hubs.
At the event, 13 cooperatives, including Huizhou Youzhili Agricultural Cooperative and Huizhou Qinglvteng Agricultural Cooperative, signed agreements with logistics providers, e-commerce platforms, fruit merchants, and drone companies.
These partnerships deepen collaboration across production-sales channels, technological cultivation, and cold chain logistics, resulting in presale agreements for approximately 15,600 tons of Zhenlong lychees.
"The lychee production-sales event will build a broad platform for exchange, cooperation, and mutual benefit," said Chen Zhipeng, Deputy Party Secretary of Zhenlong Town.
