As the 2025 Spring Festival travel rush kicks off on January 14, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is set to handle a significant influx of passengers. Over the next 40 days, the airport expects to manage over 9.4 million travelers, with daily passenger numbers reaching up to 240,000. This increase is attributed to the overlap of school holidays and the peak period for returning home and holiday travel.
For both domestic and international travelers, the airport is offering a range of convenient and efficient services, including streamlined check-in options with self-service kiosks and expanded security lanes during peak hours to speed up the process. Special assistance is also available for passengers with specific needs, such as first-time flyers, elderly travelers, and those traveling with children, providing customized support with designated help and priority services.
