139th Canton Fair debuts nine new exhibition sections

On April 10, the Ministry of Commerce of China held a special press conference on the 139th Canton Fair, announcing that this session of the Fair will debut nine new exhibition sections and is poised to break previous records in total exhibition area, the number of booths, and the number of participating enterprises.

According to the briefing, the 139th Canton Fair covers a total exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters, with 75,700 booths and over 32,000 participating companies. Among them, approximately 3,900 enterprises will be making their debut. Preparations are progressing smoothly and are nearing completion.

The number of specialized exhibition areas has increased to 179. This year marks the introduction of nine new sections, including wearable intelligence, display technology, consumer-grade drones, and prefabricated houses & garden facilities.

More than 11,000 high-quality enterprises—including those designated as specialized and sophisticated "little giants" or individual leaders in manufacturing—will participate, representing a 5.1% increase over previous records.

Furthermore, 61% of these companies have integrated new technologies and models into their production or services, such as the Industrial Internet, AI, 5G, and green, low-carbon solutions.
