On October 15, the 138th Canton Fair commenced in Guangzhou. Enterprises from the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin brought Hengqin's products to the Fair, facilitating international intended transactions valued at over $5 million.
This year, the Hengqin delegation saw an increase in the number of participating enterprises and exhibition booths, with the range of exhibited products further expanding. At this session of the Canton Fair, the products on display included categories such as electronic and electrical products, smart home appliances, sanitary and bathroom equipment, new materials, and chemical products. The product structure continues to be optimized and innovated, featuring over 20 high-tech products.
At the exhibition, the Hengqin delegation also actively utilized the Canton Fair platform to promote Hengqin's investment policies, environment, and key industries, fostering a favorable atmosphere for investment promotion. The intended transaction value for this session is expected to exceed $5 million.
"This is our first time participating in the Canton Fair," said the representative of Zhuhai Print-Rite New Materials Co., Ltd., a first-time exhibitor this year. "We have already engaged with buyers from Europe, South Asia, and other regions for negotiations, and we look forward to developing more new overseas clients through the Canton Fair."
Since the formation of the Hengqin delegation under the Guangdong Transaction Group at the 135th Canton Fair, Hengqin has consistently organized enterprises to participate for four consecutive sessions over two years. This effort has accumulated extensive experience and yielded significant results in leveraging the Canton Fair's resources to support local enterprises in entering global markets.
From the 135th to the 137th sessions, these efforts facilitated intended transaction volumes between exhibiting enterprises and international clients exceeding a total of $10 million, with clients spanning Europe, America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and other regions.
Moving forward, Hengqin will continue to optimize service mechanisms for foreign trade enterprises, support more high-quality local companies in participating in the Canton Fair, and establish and expand trade matchmaking channels to increase transaction volumes.
Simultaneously, targeted investment promotion and matchmaking activities will also be conducted, inviting Canton Fair exhibitors for on-site inspections in Hengqin and encouraging enterprises to explore more cooperation opportunities in cross-border collaboration and technological innovation.
