The 2025 Forbes China U30 List was announced on December 25, featuring 60 young innovators born after January 1, 1995. Kuang Zheng (匡正), founder and CEO of Matrix Innovation, made the list for his contributions to flexible sensing technology.

After graduating in 2017, Kuang joined DJI Innovations, where he worked as a sensor and algorithm engineer. He contributed to the Robomaster S1 educational robot and played a key role in developing DJI's sound-sensitive impact sensors, securing multiple patents along the way.
In 2021, he founded Matrix Innovation in Songshan Lake in Dongguan City, focusing on the development of flexible pressure sensors. The company has since created a comprehensive product line that addresses various applications, including robotic arms, electronic skin, and smart prosthetics.

Matrix Innovation has made significant advancements in several industries, particularly with its "electronic skin" technology, which simulates human touch. This technology allows robotic hands to have 100 sensing points on each finger, enhancing their ability to detect the shape, material, and force of objects.

In March, the company developed a bionic tactile sensing solution for Pudu Robotics' first commercial humanoid service robot, the Lightning Box Arm (LBA), enabling the robot to achieve full-area tactile perception.
Currently, Matrix Innovation serves clients across various sectors, including service robotics, industrial equipment, and healthcare, with more than 40 patents granted. Kuang's success reflects the supportive innovation ecosystem in Songshan Lake, which provides comprehensive policy backing for tech startups and young entrepreneurs.
